Education

Aultman Alliance Community Hospital appreciates students with an interest in gaining experience in health care and offers a Student Experience Program and a Student Observation Program.

We welcome interested college students to explore the possibilities with Aultman Alliance Community Hospital.

If you are a student interested in the Student Experience Program, follow the directions listed below.

Follow these steps. Once they have been completed the corresponding program coordinator will contact you to confirm acceptance into the program and arrange a schedule to complete hours.

  1. Contact the Aultman Alliance Community Hospital's Program Coordinator of the area you are interested in to see if an affiliation agreement is currently on file between your attending college or university and Aultman Alliance Community Hospital
  2. If the Affiliation Agreement is in place, proceed to Step #3. If one is not in place, contact your college or university advisor and send them Aultman Alliance Community Hospital's Affiliation Agreement: Please click here to view the agreement.
  3. Complete the Student Experience Application and send to Aultman Alliance Community Hospital's Program Coordinator within two weeks of anticipated start date.
  4. Print out a copy of the Student Information Packet for your records. You will need this material in order to complete the Application and to be considered for placement. Aultman Alliance Community Hospital will do everything it can to fulfill the student requirement; however, it cannot guarantee completion of hours as sometimes other mitigating circumstances can occur.

Student Observation Program

If you are a student enrolled in college; are at least eighteen (18) years of age; and wish to gain experience by observing in an area of your interest for eight (8) hours or less per semester, please contact the Program Coordinator of that area. To participate, you will need to complete the Student Observation Application, which requires you to review the Student Information Packet

We ask volunteers to make a commitment of 50 hours of service to Aultman Alliance Community Hospital. Please visit the Volunteer Opportunity page. Thank you!
