Our Critical Care services in Alliance are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. From heart patients to the critically ill, the Aultman Alliance facilities are designed, equipped and staffed to provide all patients with quality care. We provide:

The Critical Care services in Alliance have the facilities and equipment to handle patients' specific needs. Our Critical Care Department is occupied by two distinct units designed to treat varying levels of critical conditions. Patients with life threatening injuries and illnesses are given the close, constant medical attention they need by our team of highly trained specialists. Our care units include:

Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

  • 12 private rooms surrounding a central nursing station
  • Optimum patient monitoring
  • Patients in view of personnel at nursing station
  • Continuous monitoring of vital signs
  • Equipped for emergency resuscitation 

Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

  • Less-critical conditions
  • Extension of care for ICU patients as their conditions become more stable
  • Intensive medical care, life support systems, cardiac telemetry monitoring and initial cardiac education

Aultman Alliance also offers Dialysis Service on an inpatient basis.

The Dialysis Service Department provides treatment for patients in ICU, PCU and 3 West. Dialysis is available daily to provide Hemodialysis for inpatients. The team specializes in the acute and chronic treatment of patients in varying degrees of renal (kidney) failure who require mechanical assistance with filtering of their blood.
