Aultman Alliance Community Hospital to Provide Free Blood Pressure Checks on Tuesdays
Aultman Alliance Community Hospital (AACH) will resume offering free blood pressure checks to the public on Tuesday, June 14, and will continue to offer free blood pressure checks on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
High blood pressure, also known as hypertension, is a common condition in which the force of the blood against the artery walls is too high, leading to an increased risk of heart disease and stroke. Regularly undergoing blood pressure checks can help individuals become familiar with their blood pressure numbers, determine their risk and adopt healthier lifestyle habits to lower their blood pressure over time.
A volunteer team will staff the blood pressure station. Please note, anyone coming in for a blood pressure check must go through COVID screening at the entrance and wear a mask at all times while in the facility.
