Internet access, models, charts and other information is available to aid in health research. There is also a small section of children's books and toys. You can view our online catalog for a more detailed selection.

Patients, visitors and guests can request health caring information by calling the Health Caring Resource Center at 330-596-7144.

Spiritual Resources

The hospital chapel is one of many spiritual resources available to accommodate all denominations of faith. As a Planetree affiliate, Aultman Alliance recognizes the spiritual needs of its patients, no matter the belief system.

The third floor hospital chapel is open to all patients, visitors and colleagues at any time of day.

The hospital chapel offers a communion for patients, visitors and staff every Sunday. The hospital also has an ongoing prayer chain for patients wishing to be prayed for by colleagues and volunteers during their stay at Aultman Alliance Community Hospital. Patients can have their names added to the prayer chain by asking their nurse or social worker to contact the Spirituality Committee. Prayers are read by first name only.

Visitor Guidelines

Visits to patients by loved ones and friends are welcome at Aultman Alliance, as they are an important part of the recovery process. Patient care is our top priority.

Visitation is patient-centered, meaning the patient comes first.

Cell phones are not permitted in the hospital, but may be used in the Main Lobby, Café and Rooftop Garden on the second floor. During your visit, we may ask you to step out of the room while the patient's physician, nurse or other hospital colleague cares for the patient.

Aultman Alliance Community Hospital welcomes visitors 24 hours a day in the 3 West and critical care units.

To keep loved ones updated on the condition and care plan of a patient in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), we offer a 24-hour ICU Patient Hotline. We ask that one person be designated as the contact with the ICU. The spokesperson must provide appropriate identification when calling the hotline.

The ICU Patient Hotline number is 330-596-7243.

The Senior Care Unit patient care unit has special visitation hours.

Senior Care Unit Visitation:
Monday-Sunday: 4-8 p.m.
Visitors must be at least 12 years of age and are limited to two per patient.
